Fear of Losing Confidence...

   Thomas Edison's Inspiring Short Stories..
#Fear_ofLosingConfidence

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

When Thomas Alva Edison successfully invented #light_bulb all his assistants were happy. As he had #experimented around 1000 times before getting success in his attempt to invent light bulb.
Edison called office boy & asked him to test that bulb. Being just a office boy, he was very nervous to even holding that bulb in his hand still he did because Edison asked him to test it. He was so nervous holding it that due to nervousness he accidentally dropped it.

Office boy got scared that he would get fired from his job for dropping such important invention.

After 2 days Edison again asked that office boy to come to his cabin. All assistants were present there. Edison constructed another bulb & asked that boy to test bulb.

All assistants were surprised & said, “Why did you called him again?? There are chances of him dropping it again & all your effort could go to waste..”
Edison replied, “It took me roughly one day to construct that bulb again & even if he drops it again, I can again construct bulb with in a day..
But if I don’t give him same task again then he would have lost his self belief and confidence which would be very difficult to get back.. And I Don’t want that to Happen..”

Moral: If Once Mistaken in some task, Not doing it again may lead to Losing Confidence to Try doing that work again.

Success is Due Everyday...

#Success doesn’t just mean what the larger mob of society says it means: #LotsOfMoney, #FAME, and #FORTUNE. Many people with fame, fortune, & money have terribly empty, #IMBALANCED lives.

👉🏼 Your SUCCESS isn’t defined by what other people say.

No one can define your success but YOU. If you continue to let others tell you what SUCCESS is, you’ll never reach it. Even if you did, it wouldn’t be a true success, because it’s not what you really valued.

No, living an #extraordinary life means defining your own VERSION of what success is. You can begin to spend your time on what REALLY matters to you.

• Do you really want 1,000,000 #social_media followers?
• Do you really need to be in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list?
• Do you really want to be a New York Times or other publications best-Entrepreneur?

Or is your version of SUCCESS more #nuanced, more #narrowed, more #focused, more #specific?

If you want to live an extraordinary life, your definition of success must be your own. If we are always chasing what other people tell us to, we’ll never know or experience #true_success.

Let go of other people’s versions of success. Define your own success, and achieve it. That is true success...

Thoughts are more than welcome, cheers! 🙏🏼

Just Drop the 'Burden'...

Just Drop💧:-

Once a Crow, holding on to a piece of meat was flying to find a place to sit & eat.

However, an Eagle started chasing it. The crow was anxious and was flying higher and higher, yet the eagle was after the poor crow.

Just then "Garuda" saw the plight and pain in the eyes of the crow.

Garuda being the bird of wisdom spoke "Oh my friend!! That eagle is not after you to kill you!! It is after that piece of meat that you are holding in your beak. Just drop it and see what will happen”.

The crow followed the advice of Garuda and dropped the piece of meat, and there you go, the eagle flew towards the falling meat.

Garuda smiled and said "The Pain is only till you hold on to it. Just Drop it”.

The crow bowed and said "I dropped this piece of meat, now, I can fly even higher”.

Do you carry the huge burden called "Ego," which creates a false identity about us, saying "I need love, I need to be invited, I am so and so.. etc..." ???
-Just Drop.💧

Do you get irritated fast by "others’ actions" it may be a friend, parents, children, a colleague, life partner... and get the fumes of "anger "?
- Just Drop.💧

Do you compare yourself with others.. in beauty, wealth, life style, marks, talent and appraisals and feel disturbed with such comparisons and negative emotions ?
- Just Drop💧

Just drop the Burden and evolve to fly Higher 🙏🏼

ForGIVE & FORget...

ForGIVE & FORget:-

When you think about a #GENERATION, ask yourself this, did you BENEFIT or SUFFER from their actions?
Hopefully, you answered #benefit! If you have one GOAL it should be to set good VALUES for the generations to come. Together we can provide BETTER by doing better one day at a time.
Take a moment & ask yourself this, is there someone in your life who you need to #FORGIVE or someone that you need to be #FORGIVEN by?
Most likely the answer is yes. Take today to forgive that person or reach out to be forgiven so you can free yourself and others of that WEIGHT.
For all of us who have been #WOUNDED by other and #STRUGGLED to understand and move beyond our feelings of HURT and ANGER, where forgiveness shows that it is possible to heal our PAINs and find room in our hearts to forgive, cheers!

Stop Leaning On People...

Here is a powerful way to avoid getting let down by PEOPLE... #Stop_leaning_on_them! They are not RESPONSIBLE for #your_happiness, #your_health, #your_meaning or #your_worth. Neither are they responsible for how your day BEGINs or ENDs. Don’t put that pressure on them. They won’t be able to hold it for too long because it is not #their_job! Stop leaning & began to Chin Up #FiGHTERs! You are fully capable of being the very person you are wanting others to be for you, cheers!

THE OLD MAN & THE GIANT SHIP...

THE OLD MAN & THE GIANT SHIP:-

The engine of a giant ship #failed to start.
The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure out how to #fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large #BagOfTools with him, & when he arrived, he immediately went to #work. He #inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom...

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag & pulled out a small #hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine #lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was #fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for #TenThousandDollars...

"What?!" the owners #exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap $ 9998.00

MORAL/LESSON:-
Effort is important, but #KNOWING where to make an effort makes all the difference!

3rd Installment about Challenges Of Entrepreneurship..

I 've said earlier time & again that, don’t be afraid of failing (because you will).
Working smart, finding the right people to get the work done and doing more with less are all keys to being a successful entrepreneur. Unfortunately, they are not guarantees. You have to be realistic — not every business succeeds. To be an entrepreneur means to be someone who takes on challenges. It is absolutely synonymous. It also means you are a problem solver. Knowing what is ahead is half the battle.

The list below is completed from the challenges that I have recognized from various self-realisation & going through interviews of the most successful entrepreneurs around the globe.

#TakingTheFirstLeap:-
The biggest struggle for most would be entrepreneurs is taking that first leap. It may be quitting a job, putting up a website, entering a startup accelerator program, approaching someone with your first pitch, or just announcing your venture to the world and family and committing the dollars and credit you have.

Below is the rest & the complete list about #ChallengesOfEntrepreneurship;

lets go through this, please let me know your views...

3. #Teambuilding:-

This is especially hard if you’ve never run or managed a team before, but even if you have management experience, picking the right team for a startup is stressful and difficult. It’s not enough to find candidates who fill certain roles -- you also need to consider their cost to the business, their culture fit and how they’ll work as part of your overall team. Such considerations are exceptionally hard when you’re under the pressure of filling those positions as soon as possible.

Related: Finding the Right Second-in-Command Is the Biggest Decision An Entrepreneur Will Make

4. #BeingTheVisionary:-

As the founder of your startup, you’ll be expected to come up with the ideas. When a competitor emerges, it will be your responsibility to come up with a response plan. When your team hits an impenetrable obstacle, your job will be to come up with an alternative plan to move forward.

This demands on-the-spot creative thinking -- which should be an oxymoron, but entrepreneurs rarely have the luxury of time. The less experience you have, the more pressure you’ll feel from this, and the harder time you’ll have coming up with acceptable plans.

5. #DealingWithTheUnknown:-

How long will your business exist? How profitable will your business be? Will customers like your product? Will you be able to give yourself a steady paycheck? None of these questions has a solid, reliable answer, even in startups based on great ideas with all the resources they’d theoretically need.

That unknown factor means your job stability is going to plummet, and many of your long-term plans will remain in flux as new developments emerge. Dealing with this volatility is one of the hardest parts of emerging as a new entrepreneur.

6. #Loneliness:-

It’s a rarely mentioned problem of entrepreneurship, and many new business owners aren’t prepared for it until it happens. Being an entrepreneur is lonely. It’s a singular position, so you won’t have teammates to rely on (completely). You’ll be working lots of hours, so you won’t see your family as often. And your employees will be forced to remain at a bit of a distance.

7. #Rule_making:-

It’s fun to be the boss until you have to enforce something. Sooner or later, you’ll have to come up with the rules your business follows, from how many vacation days your workers get to what the proper protocol is when filing a complaint about a coworker. These details aren’t fun to create, and they aren’t fun to think about, but they are necessary for every business.

8. #Decision_making:-

Believe it or not, this is probably the most stressful challenge on this list. New entrepreneurs are forced to make hundreds of decisions a day, from big, company-impacting decisions, to tiny, hour-affecting ones. Decision fatigue is a real phenomenon, and most new entrepreneurs will experience it if they aren’t prepared for the new level of stress.

If you can work your way past these major obstacles, you’ll be well on your way to establishing yourself as an entrepreneur. That isn’t to say they won’t continue to nag at you as the years go on, or that new and varied challenges won’t arise to take their place, but you’ll be prepared to handle yourself in those most volatile and impactful first few months and that puts you far ahead of the competition.

Thoughts are more than welcome, cheers! 🙏🏼

The Benefits of Mindfulness Leadership...

The Benefits of #MindfulLeadership:-
We hear a lot these days about the benefits that #mindfulness practice holds for individuals. It cultivates #focus, reduces #stress, #anxiety, and builds the essential capacity of #resilience.
We don’t hear as much about the unique role of mindfulness in cultivating inspiring and effective leaders—and yet it matters. In just about every form of work or business performance is ultimately a function of how our people are performing. When our people get BURNED out or OVERWHELMED with #stress, #absenteeism, #turnover and #health_care, costs skyrocket, #productivity_declines, and the bottom line does suffer.
Mindfulness has been shown to increase #sleep_quality, #boost_productivity, and #enhance_focus. Leaders who begin training the skill of RESILIENCE are #happier, #healthier, #more_productive, and even more likely to #stay_committed to their organization.
So....
How can leaders begin training this ability to stay more present, productive, and resilient in the midst of life’s challenges?
And
How can they model and scale these practices throughout their organization?
Lets discuss some cultivating thoughts...

Here are three powerful, easy to implement, #mindfulness_strategies that I have found to be most effective in our work across a vast array of industries that I was pointing out in previous post:

1. Pause before a big meeting

Most meetings flow in the same, counter-productive, way. Everyone straggles into the conference room, you talk about random office banter for a few minutes, and then, for the next 30 to 60 minutes, most people in the room are half paying attention to the meeting and half paying attention to their Instagram, Facebook, or email.

One of the most powerful antidotes to today’s meeting culture of multitasking and distraction is a practice we called “The Arrival.”

Here’s how it works: The leader of the meeting begins by inviting everyone to take 60 seconds to do whatever they need to do to be present. This could be taking several mindful breaths, it could be a quick stretch, or it could even be sending that last text or email.

By starting with a moment of presence, this practice not only builds the momentum of focused engagement, but also helps to create a broader culture of mindfulness at work

2. Practice mindfulness on the go

We encourage all leaders to build a regular formal meditation practice, to carve out time for 10, 20, or 30 minutes each day. And yet we have found that many of the most effective leaders also practice mindfulness more informally throughout the day. It’s the practice of following your breath for several minutes while riding in an Uber, focusing on sounds while you wait in the TSA security line at the airport, or noticing the sensations in your feet as you walk from your desk to the bathroom.

By turning these in-between moments into opportunities for mindfulness, you carve out space from the incessant distraction and information overload of modern life, space that allows you to stay grounded and present during even the most rushed and hurried workdays.

3. Prioritize time without distractions

Many of the leaders we work with express a common challenge. They’re so busy fighting fires, attending meetings, and trying to reach the bottom of their inbox that they run out of time for their highest priority work. To counter this trap, we encourage leaders to set aside offline time each day for full engagement. This could be 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or even several hours.

The benefits of blocking calendar space for engagement are extraordinary. You may find that you get more done in a short time than you would otherwise get done in entire day or even a week.

This practice does, however, come with one significant challenge. Most leaders will need to guard this sacred time for engagement from the hundreds of incoming meeting requests, events, and opportunities. Your coworkers, vendors, investors, and even your family will continuously try to capture a sliver of this white space. If you can protect it, however, you will experience the profound benefits of having dedicated time for fully engaged, fully present, work each day.

By using these three mindfulness strategies, you will not only improve your ability to impact the world. You will also model something essential to your entire work community: the deep and interconnected relationship between caring for one’s wellbeing and growing a wildly successful organization, cheers!

Look at Life with A Good Perspective...

Look At Life with a Good Perspective:-

🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️🔹️
A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes.
When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for office, so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard.
His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its colour and drank it all.
It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages.
When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital where he died.

The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.

Questions:

1. What were the five words?

2. What is the implication of this story?

Answers:

The husband just said “I am with you Darling.”

The husband’s totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened.

No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child.

What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from her husband. That is what he gave her.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Take off all your envies, jealousies, forgiveness, selfishness and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think. You be at one place fully, that comes with mindfulness!

Moral of the Story: Sometimes, we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job, or with the people we know. By this way we miss out something called Life, Job, Business or something & forget to enjoy our smallest of achievements, cheers!

How To Calm Your Mind & Thoughts...

How to Calm Your Mind & Your Thoughts:-

There are various ways to calm the mind and the endless quantities of thoughts that keep passing through the mind. Why do you need to calm your mind at all? Most people appreciate a calm mind only when under pressure, when they are worried, or when they need to focus, but a #CalmMind is HELPFUL in Many Situations;
• Do you get easily nervous and irritated?
• Do you have fears and doubts that cause you to suffer?
• Do you have difficulties falling asleep at night?
• Do certain thoughts keep obsessing your mind, giving you no rest?
• Do you get agitated in every situation?
• Do you have difficulties focusing your mind?
If you experience any of the above situations, then you certainly need to learn how to calm your mind.

#Overhinking, #restless_thoughts, #impatience, #fears and #worries cause lack of #inner_peace, lack of #concentration and the inability to think CLEARLY. This leads to making errors, confusion, the inability to make decisions and to failure.
If you want to achieve more in life, you must know how to calm your mind, so that you stay FOCUSED and think with CLARITY, cheers!!!

Thoughts are welcome 🙏🏼

2nd Challenge Of Entrepreneurship: Financing...

Here's my 2nd installment of challenges for #Entrepreneurship!
Here is a fact about entrepreneurship that no one really wants to talk about: It’s a lot bigger than just yourself. Sure, leadership can bring bigger paychecks and more notoriety, but that’s not even close to defining what true challenges 're all about.

True entrepreneurship is much more than authority and recognition from the outside world. Leadership is about developing people and helping others reach their full potential. Entrepreneurs are leaders & it’s about equipping others with the right tools and strategies not only to maximize the success of an organization but also the lives of individuals. It is about breaking down barriers and leading others through the uncertainty of the future.

👉🏼 #Financing:-

Experienced entrepreneurs don’t have it easy when it comes to funding a new business, but they do have a few advantages over newcomers. They might have a pool of capital from a business they previously sold or a steady stream of revenue they can use to fund a new business’s cash-flow. Even if their first business went under, they’ve likely made #investment_contacts and #client_connections necessary to give them a leg up in a new enterprise. As a new entrepreneur, you’ll be starting from scratch, which means you’ll need to start #networking like crazy and thinking through all your possible funding options before landing on one. There’s a lot more work to startup #fundraising than most new entrepreneurs realize. Not having a full understanding of the process and what it takes can lead to a lot of frustration, if not failed rounds, or at least miserable terms, cheers!!

Getting Past The Storm...

#GettingPastTheStorm

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Once a young lady was driving a car along side with her father seated on passenger seat.. Just after few miles they came upon a furious storm.

Girl asked her father, “What should I do father??”

Father replied, “Keep driving..”
Just after few meters she saw that other cars started to pull aside as storm was getting worse.

Girl got bit scared and again asked her father, “Should I pull over too??”

Father replied, “No.. Keep driving..”

After few more meter she saw that most of the cars were pulling over.

Seeing this she slow down her car and said to her father, “Father.. I think I should pull over now as I can’t even see clearly ahead because of dust of cloud. Storm is terrible and everyone is pulling over.."

Her father again replied, “Keep driving..”

As she drove, storm seemed more terrible. It became more and more difficult for her to see and drive forward. She felt like she should stop car and pull over to some safe place but she continued to drive through storm as her father said her to keep driving...

She kept driving even through the storm. Soon see was able to see little more clear and better than before. After few miles they were out of storm on a dry land & this time her father said, “Dear.. now you can pull over and get out if you want..”

Girl replied, “But why now?? We are out of the storm..”

Father smiled and replied, “When you get out, you can look at all those people who gave up and are still struggling because of storm.. You never gave up even you got scared and kept going forward and just because you never gave up your storm is now over...”

Moral: Enduring Mental Stress Through Difficult Time in Life is key to Success. During Hard times even Strong people Give up but if You keep Going Forward and Don’t give up.. You will be able to Over come Difficulties and Hard time will be Over.

Entrepreneurship & Its Challenges...

#Entrepreneurship and its Challenges;
I'm going to elaborate on some installments;
here is the 1st one of #Entrepreneurship, which comes with a host of challenges. Rewarding challenges, but harsh challenges nonetheless.

Experienced entrepreneurs have to deal with this no matter how long they’ve been in business --trying to establish a brand, adjust to match or exceed the competition and keep your business profitable is a challenge no matter how many years you’ve been in business.
But for new and young entrepreneurs, there are some unique challenges that are especially difficult to overcome. If you’re just getting into the game, or you’re thinking about becoming an entrepreneur, be prepared for these few significant hurdles;

👉🏼 Abandoning Another Career:

If you’re going to dedicate yourself to starting and nurturing a business to success, it’s going to be nearly impossible to simultaneously manage another career.

You might be able to manage the infancy of your business on the side, during weeknights and weekends, but if you want a chance of growing significantly, invariably you’ll have to quit your day job.

Walking away from a promising, steady longterm opportunity for something unpredictable is scary-especially if you’ve never run a business before.

Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to address this. Just think through your decision logically, and don’t ignore your instincts.

Starting a business can be tough, but your approach can make things tougher. Have the right thinking in place to set yourself up for success, cheers!

Thoughts welcome...

Self-discipline is what you need...

Discipline should be self-imposed, it should come from within, self-discipline is necessary for health and for the progress in life by observing discipline we can make our lives bright. Rightly said by somebody, “All success begins with self-discipline. It starts with you”. It reminds me of an ancient Greece story about Socrates: -

Socrates in a Gossip
One day an acquaintance of great philosopher Socrates met him and wanted to give some information about one of his friends. Socrates replied, “Hold a minute before telling me anything, I would like to pass you a little test, it’s called the Triple Filter Test”. Socrates continued, “before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to filter what you are going to say. The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely certain that what you are going to tell me is true?”, “NO”, the man said, “actually I heard about this”. So Socrates said, “So you really don’t know whether it is true or false?” The man replied No. Socrates continued, “Let us try the second filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are going to tell me about my friend is Good? ” The man replied, “No! on the contrary, it is bad”. Now the last filter i.e., Of Usefulness. “Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to use to me?”, Socrates asked. “No not really”, The man replied. Well concluded Socrates, “If what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?”

Moral: — Anybody who is going to give you some information about the third person, you must put it through triple filter test i.e. Information should be true, it should be good and it should be useful to you.
Remember that you need not be smarter than rest, you have to be more disciplined than rest

Beautiful Flowers On Other Side...

Flowers on Other Side...
★★★★★★★★★◆◆◆◆◆
Once a young girl was very fond of gardening. She used to love flowers and had maintained herself a very beautiful garden. One day while looking through a flower catalogue, she found a very beautiful flower. She thought to herself, “I want to have it in my garden.”

She looked through the details of flower and ordered it’s seed and other planting thing necessary for it.

After this she looked through the garden and decided for a place to plant those seeds. When it arrived, she took every thing to the back of her house and there she planted it at the base of wall.

Plant grew vigorously with beautiful leaves all over the wall but there were no flowers. Just to see that beautiful flower bloom.. she continued to cultivate it, water it and took great care of it.

She tried every thing yet there was no sign of even a single flower in between those beautiful leaves and vines on the wall. Weeks went by but still no flower bloom. One morning she stood in front of that plant and felt disappointed as there was still no flower that she had seen in catalogue.

She thought about cutting it and plant something else in its place. Just then her neighbour called her out from behind the wall.
She was surprised as they never did talk much to each other. Her neighbour said, “Thank you!! Thank you so much for planting such beautiful flowers..”

She replied, “What??”

Neighbor replied, “You can’t imagine how much I have enjoyed looking at those flower. They are really beautiful.."

Listening to reply young woman walked through the gate into neighbour’s backyard and on neighbours side she saw that the vines was filled with flowers.
They were the most beautiful flowers she had ever seen and they were more beautiful than what she saw in catalogue. She saw that vines crept through crevices and even if hadn’t had any flower on her side of wall, it had luxuriantly on the other side of wall.

Moral: Just because you cannot see the good Result of your Labor doesn’t mean that it Bore no Fruit!

Desire To Help...

#Desire to Help

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

A story that'll touch your heart.

It was getting dark. Someone was calling me behind the locked iron gate. Wondering who it could be I came out. An elderly person was standing behind the gate. The clothes wrinkled and with a small bag in his hand he appeared to have travelled some distance coming here. Looking into a small piece of paper in his hands he enquired, “Isn’t this Ayan's, Number 24, Yogananda Street, my son?” “Yes, I am Ayan and this is the address. And you…”, I mumbled. Slightly shivering and moistening his dry lips with the tongue he replied, handing over the letter, “Babu, I am your father’s friend. I am coming from your village. Your father gave me this letter and advised that I seek help from you”.
Taking that letter from him, exclaiming “father?”, I eagerly read that letter. “Dear Ayan, blessings to you. The person carrying this letter is my friend. His name is Tapesh. Works hard. A few days ago, his only son died in an accident. He is running around seeking compensation. That would help him and his wife to pull along with the other meagre income. I am sending the police reports after the accident, the compensation affidavits given by the Travel Agents and other relevant papers. He was told that the final payment may be collected in the Head Office. This is his first visit to Delhi and he is a stranger. I am hoping that you would be able to help him. Take care of your health. Visit us at your earliest convenience. Your loving father”.
Tapesh Mitra was standing watching me. I thought for a moment and invited him inside. Giving him some water to drink, I enquired, “did you have anything to eat, its already late?”. He replied, “No, my son. As the journey got delayed, I ate the two fruits that I brought with me.”
Going inside I prepared four rotis/chapatis and served them with pickles. Saying, “you please eat”, I went out and made a couple of calls and returned. When I returned, I found that he had finished the tiffin and was sitting with a few papers in his hand. There was a photo of his deceased son. The boy was handsome and young. May be 22 years. My eyes moistened.
“He was my only son. Those who were born before him died due to various other causes. He was the only one we had. Tourit was his name. He studied well and got a job. Assuring us that he will take care of us and we would get over all hardships he took up the job. On the fateful day he was involved in a road accident while crossing the road. Died on the spot. Not wishing to take compensation in the name of the deceased son we were initially reluctant. But day by day, I am becoming weak and my wife too is not doing well. With your father’s insistence I came here. Saying my son will help, he sent me with this letter”, he concluded.
“Fine. It’s late now. Take rest”. Saying this I too slept.
Next morning, we got ready, had coffee at home and started. Finishing breakfast on the way, we reached the Office address mentioned in the documents. “Ayan, I will take care of the rest. You attend to your office work” said Tapesh uncle. “No issue. I have taken leave for today”, I replied. Being with him I got the compensation paid to him. “Thank you, dear son. My wife is alone at home and I will go back home”, said the old man. “Come, I will drop you at the station and see you off.” I took him to the railway station, got him a ticket, bought a few fruits, cakes to eat on the way. He said with joy in his eyes, he said, “Ayan babu, taking leave for my sake you helped me a lot. Soon after going home I will narrate everything to your father and thank him too.”
Smiling and holding his hands I explained, “I am not your friend’s son Ayan. I am Aravinda. You came to the wrong address. That Ayan’s house is another 2 km away. You were already tired and I didn’t have the heart to tell you the truth. I called the number in your letter and enquired. His wife said that Ayan had gone out of town on some work. I called your friend and told him too. He felt very sad. Once I assured him that I will take care he felt good. The loss you have suffered is irreparable. But I felt that I should help you. That I did it gives me greatest pleasure.” As the train moved, holding my hands Tapesh uncle left with tears of gratitude in his eyes. “God bless you, my child”, were his parting words. That is enough for me, I thought. My father passed away fifteen year earlier. Now looking at Tapesh Mitra I felt my father has returned.
Looking up at the sky I thought my father must be somewhere there. “Dad, did you come in this form to check my progress in life! Sending me a letter, were you testing me whether I would help or not? Born to a great father like you, as a son I have performed by duty. Are you happy?” Tears of joy flooded my eyes.

Moral: Have an intention to help & see the Universe will work out the way for you.

17 Ducks...

Problem Solving:-

An old man used to live with his three sons. After old man passed away, his lawyer came up to his three sons and gave them his will.
Among all other assets, old man had mentioned about 17 ducks in his will.

In will old man stated that, “Eldest son should get half (1/2) of 17 ducks. Middle son should be given one third (1/3) of 17 ducks and youngest son should be given one ninth (1/9) of 17 ducks.”
Son’s were able to divide up all the assets but they were not able to divide ducks between them.
As it was not possible to divide 17 ducks, the way it was mentioned in will. Ever after trying many ways they were not able to solve this problem.
So they decided to go to a wise man, who used to live outside village. All three brothers went to him with ducks kept in carriage and told him about their father’s will.
Wise man listened to them carefully and patiently. After this wise man bought a duck of his own and kept it with other 17 ducks.
With Wise man’s duck, total number of ducks were now 18.
Now wise man asked them to open up their father’s will and then start to divide ducks accordingly. He gave:
— Half (1/2) of 18 ducks that is 9 ducks to eldest son.
— One third (1/3) of 18 ducks that is 6 ducks to middle son.
at last
— One ninth (1/9) of 18 ducks that is 2 ducks were given to youngest son.

Now this adds up – ( 9 + 6 + 2 = 17 )

With this one duck was left, which wise man’s duck. He took it back.

Moral: The attitude of negotiation & problem solving is to find the 18th duck i.e. the common ground. Once a person is able to find the common ground, the issue can be solved. It is difficult at times. To reach a solution, the first step is to believe that there is a solution. If we think that there is no solution, we won’t be able to reach any.

Happy & Fruitful Day Ahead 👍🏼

Difference Between Confidence and Self-Esteem..

Most of the people use the words confidence and self-esteem interchangeably. Where it is found that differences between the two exist, though, and it matters how these terms are used.

What’s self-esteem?

You can accurately swap the word esteem with approval. When you hold someone in high esteem, you approve of them. If you have healthy self-esteem, you approve of yourself.

Plenty of people lack strong self-esteem because they disapprove of themselves, imagining they aren’t good enough. If you have self-esteem issues, the remedy is to work at recognizing your value so you see yourself as acceptable and worthwhile.

What is self-confidence?

Confidence is about certainty. When you are confident, you believe you are capable. So, you might be confident you can ride a horse or take care of your finances.

Adding the word self to confident suggests you believe you are a capable individual. Still, while you are confident of your ability to take care of most everyday tasks, you might doubt your ability to carry out other jobs like speaking in public or sailing, for instance. So self-confidence ebbs and flows, depending on the situation.

To increase self-confidence, you might stretch from your comfort zone and discover you are far more capable than you imagine, resulting in the domino effect — as your self-confidence grows your courage will expand.

Why does it matter which word you use?

As you see, self-esteem and self-confidence share similarities. They are also different though. Even if you are bold and self-confident, it’s possible to suffer from low self-esteem. This is why some people who appear extremely confident lack self-love and secretly need constant approval.

If your self-esteem is low, the image you hold of yourself is damaged and you don’t recognize how valuable you are. You can’t fix the problem by running further than anyone else, climbing the career ladder, or collecting accolades. Hence, many celebrities, film stars, and people in the limelight who are prosperous and popular have low self-esteem. They don’t feel good enough.

Lack of self-esteem exists on a primal level; it seeps into your psyche and influences everything you do. Lack of confidence is usually solved via gaining knowledge, expanding skills, and practicing until your ability increases.

Often, self-esteem issues are created in childhood when kid’s brains are developing fast and easily manipulated by the environment. You may also lose self-esteem after a hard knock or setback like an enduring illness or a painful life event.

Changing your self-esteem involves polishing your self-image and seeing how you shine. As it exists in the subconscious, that’s where work needs to be accomplished for effective change.

Ideas for Improving Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence:-
If you are having trouble finding areas you are confident in, try these tips.
  • Think of qualities others say you excel in. Even if you believe them slightly, this is a step in the right direction.
  • Stop the negative chatter. Shut it up! Start to think of contradictions to these statements.
  • Would you say it to a friend? If not, stop saying these statements to yourself.
  • Make a list of strengths. Think of what you would say about yourself if you were on a job interview.

The more we recognize our challenges with self-confidence and self-esteem, the more aware we become of improvements that can be made. This is when positive changes occur.

It’s important to recognize whether you have low self-esteem or lack confidence so you appreciate how to tackle the issue. Using the words correctly also helps you understand yourself and other people.

Try Not To Be a People Pleaser...

We all have person drama from time to time. This however is not an excuse to lower your standards or your values with anyone. There is a disease spreading around the world called “people pleasing”. The phrases in our heads are, “I don’t want to hurt their feelings, I don’t want them to be upset with me, I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. Here is the deal #FiGHTER. I am going to keep it 💯 for you.
You are worrying about nonsense! This is wasted energy, wasted time and the wasting away of you! Learn to say no to drama! Chin Up & stand for quality. Not for the quantity of how many can agree or side with you. If you want to win you can’t pretend. Be real with yourself. Start learning to be true, cheers!!

How To Get Lucky Enogh!!

📌Whenever you find the chance to go into people's mind there you'll see how horrible & terrible some people feel about themselves on the inside.

📎The image they see about themselves is so bad & so sad that you will realise a lot of people are walking about, but their inner being is shouting & screaming for help just to forgive themselves of a serious sin or guilty conscience & some personal inferiority about who they are.

📎Some people can look down on themselves to the point they don't feel worthy of someone give them #LOVE, because of the past & what someone's #Criticism. A lot of people are not #Happy today because they don't feel good even about themselves & all they need is someone to show them the big picture & the other side of the coin.

📎Life is already harsh enough, don't make it more difficult for others by being #mean and #judgemental & always #condemning people because of a #mistake or always referring to the past. Have #Belief, Chin Up Fellas, soon things will be turning over, be a #FiGHTER, cheers!

If SITUTION needs We need to CHANGE It...

It’s Friday and I better not hear you singing that Thank God It’s Friday song! When I was in the 9-5 grind, I was singing it a lot until I realized that, it was actually keeping me stuck years and years later in the same place with the same attitude and the same old song.
There are two songs you may hear being played out during the week. One is, "Thank God It's Friday" and the other is "I Can't Believe It's Monday Already". If you have been singing either of these songs, then you are potentially living a life that is not of your desire. You are living it for someone else. Of course, you gotta eat, bills must be paid and you have to have a roof over your head & blah blah blah... I understand, and for years I said the same things all while being unfulfilled, stuck, frustrated and afraid to make necessary changes to improve my situation.
You can certainly live a life that you truly desire to live but it requires a willingness to not stay in the parade or marching band of the many who refuse to change their tones toward themselves and their current situations. Situations do not change until we make our own necessary responses and changes to the situations. Complaining will always provide you with the resources for more complaining. DO SOMETHING different with your actions. What do you need to change to avoid the Monday drama and the Friday soap opera? Everyday should be a day you desire even if it has some challenges. It’s time to Chin Up and make some changes #FiGHTERs. Only you can CHANGE your situation, no one else can't, cheers!

The Biggest Asset HEALTH!

Health should be on the top of your priority list daily, weekly, monthly & of course yearly. I’ve seen people push themselves through business without acknowledgement of the most important contributing factor to that business or personal life. That is you! You need balance. You need your health!

We only radiate out what we actually feel inward about ourselves. I am sure you have heard the saying, “to be successful you must feel successful”. But what causes you to feel successful? It’s called ENERGY. And what causes us to have good energy to do the necessary daily actions for our success? It derives from how we take care of our bodies internally & externally. Health is the foundation to which you can stand and start balancing your lifestyle the right way.

The most important key to the changing & altering of your life is and will always be you. Let it start first with changing your eating and exercising habits to better ones. There is always room for improvement. Remember this: “Health is our greatest investment or asset”. It will pay us back enormous dividends if we invest into it consistently. Chin Up to better health #FiGHTER, cheers!

TRANSFORM Your Life...

A goal should scare you from time to time! This challenges the concrete stories or belief systems we have been standing upon for years. There are no limits! You are your only limit when you believe that age old concept. Take a look at your goals! Get around people who talk about fresh ideas and ways of doing things differently even if it will take time & hard work. We need to Transform ourselves. Now for me #Transform means;
T- #train to face the CHANGE
R- #reinforce the PURPOSE
A- #align self IDEAS
N- #navigate through AMBIGUITY
S- #simplify the COMPLEX
F- #fearless to LEAD the CHANGE
O- #opportunity to IMPROVISE
R- #realize the POTENTIAL &
M- #motivate your TEAM
Nothing great is built with a small way of thinking! Chin Up #FiGHTERS, something better is waiting for ya, #LOVE ya'll, cheers!

It Will Surely Pass On...

ITS OK, DON'T WORRY

Everybody in life worries once in while. Everyone you see has problems. But no problem lasts forever. Where is that problem you were facing last year? The one you thought it was impossible to come out of and was it your end? It's over like magic and a miracle. It's no more there and that's how this current one too will pass. You are not alone having a sad moment and a bad time now.

No matter who you are, there is one part of life you will have some worry. Worrying is part of life and it's okay but worrying without hope is what becomes frustration and causes depression.

Don't feel sorry for yourself because of your problem. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. Just do something, don't be idle it makes you worry more.

If you don't have money go out and while you are walking outside or in a transport say to yourself in your mind: I am the richest or successful man/woman in the whole world and say with smile on your face. Yes, smile and say it, that it bad phase that is going, not that is your permanent state of life, and then see how does it feel!

Do you know that it doesn't cost anything to say that yet it puts so much smile on your face. When the feeling dies down just say it again, when you are trying to start worrying. Whatever your problem is say the opposite of it and see how you will instantly feel good and keep you going.

Whatever you talk about or think more of is what you expand and multiply and soon your life will experience it. So ignore the problem, pretend as if it doesn't exist and you don't have a problem, say and talk more about the good things you desire and soon your life will experience it. It's one way to defeat worry and turn things around for your good.

Don't wear your problems on your face. Don't put on your problems like a clothing or musk. When you have a problem the world must not know it the moment they see you.

Don't feed on your problems it will grow more. And you don't want that. So instead of worrying, be pondering on the good, it can literally change your mood for good.

Have hope and know that this one too will passover and soon be gone. It is like a storm but it wouldn't last forever. Don't take it personal on yourself. Always tell Universe about your problems and have belief that your good doings will return as good for you.

#Hope means...
H: Holding
O: On &
P: Patiently
E: Expecting

Have hope & know that help is on the way. Don't say it's over, say this problem will be over. #Love and believe your #FiGHTING spirit, cheers!

THOMAS EDISON & HENRY FORD UNKNOWN STORY ...

THOMAS EDISON & HENRY FORD UNKNOWN STORY

➡️In 1896, Thomas Edison, the great inventor who invented the electric bulb, was working on an idea to design a car when he heard that a young man who worked in his company had created an experimental car.

Edison met the young man at his company's party in New York & interviewed him about the car. He was impressed!

He had the same idea as the young man but he was considering electricity as the power source while the young man used a gasoline engine to power the car.

He slammed his fist down & shouted "young man, that's the thing! You have it! I think you are on to something! I encourage you to continue your pursuits!"

With these words of encouragement from the most highly respected inventor in the United States at that time, HENRY Ford continued his work, invented a car and became wealthy.

➡️On December 9, 1914, Thomas Edison's laboratory & factory got burnt. He was 67 years old & the damage was too expensive for insurance cover.

Before the ashes were cold, Henry Ford handed Edison a cheque of $750,000 with a note saying that Edison could have more if he needed it!

➡️In 1916, Henry Ford relocated his home to the building next to Edison's home and when Edison couldn't walk and was confined to a wheelchair by his doctors, Henry Ford also bought himself a wheelchair  so that he could run wheelchair races with his friend and mentor!

Thomas Edison made Henry Ford believe in himself & got a friend for lifetime!

Don't ever be jealous of other people's success. If you can't win a race, help the person in front of you break the record!

Putting out the candle light of your neighbour in the dark will never increase the brightness of yours.

Your #candle will not lose its light when it lights up another candle. Getting the job done is more #important than who gets the #glory!

Be inspired, speak positively into someone's life today, and possibly save a soul.

Have a brilliant week.

#NB: If you are into business, then you have to be in networking person, in any part of the world, I would love to know what you do and see how we can #encourage each other & become best of friends just like Edison and Ford. Inbox or comment me if you wish to #ASAP, cheers!!

Failures Attracts Your Success...

Once you take a bite out of success, failure will never taste the same again. Many bite into failure & hold on to it’s bitterness. They slow down their chewing, they slow down their excitement for life & play it safe, consuming the things that are easy to tolerate. They wonder how others approach success so gracefully & consistently.

Success is a continuous motion. It’s about continuing to try, making mistakes, learning and tweaking your direction. Eventually you will taste the fruit of the hard earned labor. Once you taste that success, failure is just something that you know will pop up from time to time. But you remember more of how sweet Success is.
Don’t take failure personal. It’s situational. You can always Change your situation. To take a bite out of success you can’t be afraid to get some bitterness of failure once in a while. Success is an activity. It’s a journey. Remember your successes along your #journey to other successes. Keep that taste of #victory on your tongue. Tell yourself there is more winning to come. Always remember that I #LOVE you all, Chin Up #FiGHTER, cheers!

HOW TO BECOME A SPEAKER, MOTIVATOR OR COUNSELOR...

HOW TO BECOME A #SPEAKER, #MOTIVATOR OR #COUNSELOR.

Step 1: Be a children's teacher, you will learn a lot about human nature and character from children, because they act real. You can start from a school or community that has children. Starting with children is always an easy place to begin in training.

Step 2: Be a positive influence and a role model to your age mates. If you win their respect & confidence, you can become an advisor they will like to talk to & learn from. Let me give you one mantra for success, whatsoever is your trainee's age might be, you need to consider them as children. Trust me, till now I think that, & that's quite helpful at times.

Step 3: To be able to speak to people and an audience. Try being a demonstrator or a preacher. It helps you to overcome shyness and fear of crowd.

Step 4: Don't be afraid to stand up & to deliver. Everywhere you go whether school, college, work, public, meetings. Just stand up & earn a chance to deliver. This builds confidence and eliminates fear.

Step 5: Always have a pen and paper handy to put down any idea that flashes your mind. Carry a book with you everywhere you go & read it every second. When you feed your brain with new ideas you will always have something to say about everytime.

Thanks for reading and always remember, I truly #Love & care about you . I look for your success #FiGHTER.
