Fear of Losing Confidence...

   Thomas Edison's Inspiring Short Stories..
#Fear_ofLosingConfidence

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

When Thomas Alva Edison successfully invented #light_bulb all his assistants were happy. As he had #experimented around 1000 times before getting success in his attempt to invent light bulb.
Edison called office boy & asked him to test that bulb. Being just a office boy, he was very nervous to even holding that bulb in his hand still he did because Edison asked him to test it. He was so nervous holding it that due to nervousness he accidentally dropped it.

Office boy got scared that he would get fired from his job for dropping such important invention.

After 2 days Edison again asked that office boy to come to his cabin. All assistants were present there. Edison constructed another bulb & asked that boy to test bulb.

All assistants were surprised & said, “Why did you called him again?? There are chances of him dropping it again & all your effort could go to waste..”
Edison replied, “It took me roughly one day to construct that bulb again & even if he drops it again, I can again construct bulb with in a day..
But if I don’t give him same task again then he would have lost his self belief and confidence which would be very difficult to get back.. And I Don’t want that to Happen..”

Moral: If Once Mistaken in some task, Not doing it again may lead to Losing Confidence to Try doing that work again.

Success is Due Everyday...

#Success doesn’t just mean what the larger mob of society says it means: #LotsOfMoney, #FAME, and #FORTUNE. Many people with fame, fortune, & money have terribly empty, #IMBALANCED lives.

πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Your SUCCESS isn’t defined by what other people say.

No one can define your success but YOU. If you continue to let others tell you what SUCCESS is, you’ll never reach it. Even if you did, it wouldn’t be a true success, because it’s not what you really valued.

No, living an #extraordinary life means defining your own VERSION of what success is. You can begin to spend your time on what REALLY matters to you.

• Do you really want 1,000,000 #social_media followers?
• Do you really need to be in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list?
• Do you really want to be a New York Times or other publications best-Entrepreneur?

Or is your version of SUCCESS more #nuanced, more #narrowed, more #focused, more #specific?

If you want to live an extraordinary life, your definition of success must be your own. If we are always chasing what other people tell us to, we’ll never know or experience #true_success.

Let go of other people’s versions of success. Define your own success, and achieve it. That is true success...

Thoughts are more than welcome, cheers! πŸ™πŸΌ

Just Drop the 'Burden'...

Just DropπŸ’§:-

Once a Crow, holding on to a piece of meat was flying to find a place to sit & eat.

However, an Eagle started chasing it. The crow was anxious and was flying higher and higher, yet the eagle was after the poor crow.

Just then "Garuda" saw the plight and pain in the eyes of the crow.

Garuda being the bird of wisdom spoke "Oh my friend!! That eagle is not after you to kill you!! It is after that piece of meat that you are holding in your beak. Just drop it and see what will happen”.

The crow followed the advice of Garuda and dropped the piece of meat, and there you go, the eagle flew towards the falling meat.

Garuda smiled and said "The Pain is only till you hold on to it. Just Drop it”.

The crow bowed and said "I dropped this piece of meat, now, I can fly even higher”.

Do you carry the huge burden called "Ego," which creates a false identity about us, saying "I need love, I need to be invited, I am so and so.. etc..." ???
-Just Drop.πŸ’§

Do you get irritated fast by "others’ actions" it may be a friend, parents, children, a colleague, life partner... and get the fumes of "anger "?
- Just Drop.πŸ’§

Do you compare yourself with others.. in beauty, wealth, life style, marks, talent and appraisals and feel disturbed with such comparisons and negative emotions ?
- Just DropπŸ’§

Just drop the Burden and evolve to fly Higher πŸ™πŸΌ

ForGIVE & FORget...

ForGIVE & FORget:-

When you think about a #GENERATION, ask yourself this, did you BENEFIT or SUFFER from their actions?
Hopefully, you answered #benefit! If you have one GOAL it should be to set good VALUES for the generations to come. Together we can provide BETTER by doing better one day at a time.
Take a moment & ask yourself this, is there someone in your life who you need to #FORGIVE or someone that you need to be #FORGIVEN by?
Most likely the answer is yes. Take today to forgive that person or reach out to be forgiven so you can free yourself and others of that WEIGHT.
For all of us who have been #WOUNDED by other and #STRUGGLED to understand and move beyond our feelings of HURT and ANGER, where forgiveness shows that it is possible to heal our PAINs and find room in our hearts to forgive, cheers!

Stop Leaning On People...

Here is a powerful way to avoid getting let down by PEOPLE... #Stop_leaning_on_them! They are not RESPONSIBLE for #your_happiness, #your_health, #your_meaning or #your_worth. Neither are they responsible for how your day BEGINs or ENDs. Don’t put that pressure on them. They won’t be able to hold it for too long because it is not #their_job! Stop leaning & began to Chin Up #FiGHTERs! You are fully capable of being the very person you are wanting others to be for you, cheers!

THE OLD MAN & THE GIANT SHIP...

THE OLD MAN & THE GIANT SHIP:-

The engine of a giant ship #failed to start.
The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure out how to #fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large #BagOfTools with him, & when he arrived, he immediately went to #work. He #inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom...

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag & pulled out a small #hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine #lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was #fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for #TenThousandDollars...

"What?!" the owners #exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap $ 9998.00

MORAL/LESSON:-
Effort is important, but #KNOWING where to make an effort makes all the difference!

3rd Installment about Challenges Of Entrepreneurship..

I 've said earlier time & again that, don’t be afraid of failing (because you will).
Working smart, finding the right people to get the work done and doing more with less are all keys to being a successful entrepreneur. Unfortunately, they are not guarantees. You have to be realistic — not every business succeeds. To be an entrepreneur means to be someone who takes on challenges. It is absolutely synonymous. It also means you are a problem solver. Knowing what is ahead is half the battle.

The list below is completed from the challenges that I have recognized from various self-realisation & going through interviews of the most successful entrepreneurs around the globe.

#TakingTheFirstLeap:-
The biggest struggle for most would be entrepreneurs is taking that first leap. It may be quitting a job, putting up a website, entering a startup accelerator program, approaching someone with your first pitch, or just announcing your venture to the world and family and committing the dollars and credit you have.

Below is the rest & the complete list about #ChallengesOfEntrepreneurship;

lets go through this, please let me know your views...

3. #Teambuilding:-

This is especially hard if you’ve never run or managed a team before, but even if you have management experience, picking the right team for a startup is stressful and difficult. It’s not enough to find candidates who fill certain roles -- you also need to consider their cost to the business, their culture fit and how they’ll work as part of your overall team. Such considerations are exceptionally hard when you’re under the pressure of filling those positions as soon as possible.

Related: Finding the Right Second-in-Command Is the Biggest Decision An Entrepreneur Will Make

4. #BeingTheVisionary:-

As the founder of your startup, you’ll be expected to come up with the ideas. When a competitor emerges, it will be your responsibility to come up with a response plan. When your team hits an impenetrable obstacle, your job will be to come up with an alternative plan to move forward.

This demands on-the-spot creative thinking -- which should be an oxymoron, but entrepreneurs rarely have the luxury of time. The less experience you have, the more pressure you’ll feel from this, and the harder time you’ll have coming up with acceptable plans.

5. #DealingWithTheUnknown:-

How long will your business exist? How profitable will your business be? Will customers like your product? Will you be able to give yourself a steady paycheck? None of these questions has a solid, reliable answer, even in startups based on great ideas with all the resources they’d theoretically need.

That unknown factor means your job stability is going to plummet, and many of your long-term plans will remain in flux as new developments emerge. Dealing with this volatility is one of the hardest parts of emerging as a new entrepreneur.

6. #Loneliness:-

It’s a rarely mentioned problem of entrepreneurship, and many new business owners aren’t prepared for it until it happens. Being an entrepreneur is lonely. It’s a singular position, so you won’t have teammates to rely on (completely). You’ll be working lots of hours, so you won’t see your family as often. And your employees will be forced to remain at a bit of a distance.

7. #Rule_making:-

It’s fun to be the boss until you have to enforce something. Sooner or later, you’ll have to come up with the rules your business follows, from how many vacation days your workers get to what the proper protocol is when filing a complaint about a coworker. These details aren’t fun to create, and they aren’t fun to think about, but they are necessary for every business.

8. #Decision_making:-

Believe it or not, this is probably the most stressful challenge on this list. New entrepreneurs are forced to make hundreds of decisions a day, from big, company-impacting decisions, to tiny, hour-affecting ones. Decision fatigue is a real phenomenon, and most new entrepreneurs will experience it if they aren’t prepared for the new level of stress.

If you can work your way past these major obstacles, you’ll be well on your way to establishing yourself as an entrepreneur. That isn’t to say they won’t continue to nag at you as the years go on, or that new and varied challenges won’t arise to take their place, but you’ll be prepared to handle yourself in those most volatile and impactful first few months and that puts you far ahead of the competition.

Thoughts are more than welcome, cheers! πŸ™πŸΌ

The Benefits of Mindfulness Leadership...

The Benefits of #MindfulLeadership:-
We hear a lot these days about the benefits that #mindfulness practice holds for individuals. It cultivates #focus, reduces #stress, #anxiety, and builds the essential capacity of #resilience.
We don’t hear as much about the unique role of mindfulness in cultivating inspiring and effective leaders—and yet it matters. In just about every form of work or business performance is ultimately a function of how our people are performing. When our people get BURNED out or OVERWHELMED with #stress, #absenteeism, #turnover and #health_care, costs skyrocket, #productivity_declines, and the bottom line does suffer.
Mindfulness has been shown to increase #sleep_quality, #boost_productivity, and #enhance_focus. Leaders who begin training the skill of RESILIENCE are #happier, #healthier, #more_productive, and even more likely to #stay_committed to their organization.
So....
How can leaders begin training this ability to stay more present, productive, and resilient in the midst of life’s challenges?
And
How can they model and scale these practices throughout their organization?
Lets discuss some cultivating thoughts...

Here are three powerful, easy to implement, #mindfulness_strategies that I have found to be most effective in our work across a vast array of industries that I was pointing out in previous post:

1. Pause before a big meeting

Most meetings flow in the same, counter-productive, way. Everyone straggles into the conference room, you talk about random office banter for a few minutes, and then, for the next 30 to 60 minutes, most people in the room are half paying attention to the meeting and half paying attention to their Instagram, Facebook, or email.

One of the most powerful antidotes to today’s meeting culture of multitasking and distraction is a practice we called “The Arrival.”

Here’s how it works: The leader of the meeting begins by inviting everyone to take 60 seconds to do whatever they need to do to be present. This could be taking several mindful breaths, it could be a quick stretch, or it could even be sending that last text or email.

By starting with a moment of presence, this practice not only builds the momentum of focused engagement, but also helps to create a broader culture of mindfulness at work

2. Practice mindfulness on the go

We encourage all leaders to build a regular formal meditation practice, to carve out time for 10, 20, or 30 minutes each day. And yet we have found that many of the most effective leaders also practice mindfulness more informally throughout the day. It’s the practice of following your breath for several minutes while riding in an Uber, focusing on sounds while you wait in the TSA security line at the airport, or noticing the sensations in your feet as you walk from your desk to the bathroom.

By turning these in-between moments into opportunities for mindfulness, you carve out space from the incessant distraction and information overload of modern life, space that allows you to stay grounded and present during even the most rushed and hurried workdays.

3. Prioritize time without distractions

Many of the leaders we work with express a common challenge. They’re so busy fighting fires, attending meetings, and trying to reach the bottom of their inbox that they run out of time for their highest priority work. To counter this trap, we encourage leaders to set aside offline time each day for full engagement. This could be 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or even several hours.

The benefits of blocking calendar space for engagement are extraordinary. You may find that you get more done in a short time than you would otherwise get done in entire day or even a week.

This practice does, however, come with one significant challenge. Most leaders will need to guard this sacred time for engagement from the hundreds of incoming meeting requests, events, and opportunities. Your coworkers, vendors, investors, and even your family will continuously try to capture a sliver of this white space. If you can protect it, however, you will experience the profound benefits of having dedicated time for fully engaged, fully present, work each day.

By using these three mindfulness strategies, you will not only improve your ability to impact the world. You will also model something essential to your entire work community: the deep and interconnected relationship between caring for one’s wellbeing and growing a wildly successful organization, cheers!

Look at Life with A Good Perspective...

Look At Life with a Good Perspective:-

πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️πŸ”Ή️
A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes.
When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for office, so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard.
His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its colour and drank it all.
It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages.
When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital where he died.

The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.

Questions:

1. What were the five words?

2. What is the implication of this story?

Answers:

The husband just said “I am with you Darling.”

The husband’s totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened.

No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child.

What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from her husband. That is what he gave her.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Take off all your envies, jealousies, forgiveness, selfishness and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think. You be at one place fully, that comes with mindfulness!

Moral of the Story: Sometimes, we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job, or with the people we know. By this way we miss out something called Life, Job, Business or something & forget to enjoy our smallest of achievements, cheers!

How To Calm Your Mind & Thoughts...

How to Calm Your Mind & Your Thoughts:-

There are various ways to calm the mind and the endless quantities of thoughts that keep passing through the mind. Why do you need to calm your mind at all? Most people appreciate a calm mind only when under pressure, when they are worried, or when they need to focus, but a #CalmMind is HELPFUL in Many Situations;
• Do you get easily nervous and irritated?
• Do you have fears and doubts that cause you to suffer?
• Do you have difficulties falling asleep at night?
• Do certain thoughts keep obsessing your mind, giving you no rest?
• Do you get agitated in every situation?
• Do you have difficulties focusing your mind?
If you experience any of the above situations, then you certainly need to learn how to calm your mind.

#Overhinking, #restless_thoughts, #impatience, #fears and #worries cause lack of #inner_peace, lack of #concentration and the inability to think CLEARLY. This leads to making errors, confusion, the inability to make decisions and to failure.
If you want to achieve more in life, you must know how to calm your mind, so that you stay FOCUSED and think with CLARITY, cheers!!!

Thoughts are welcome πŸ™πŸΌ

2nd Challenge Of Entrepreneurship: Financing...

Here's my 2nd installment of challenges for #Entrepreneurship!
Here is a fact about entrepreneurship that no one really wants to talk about: It’s a lot bigger than just yourself. Sure, leadership can bring bigger paychecks and more notoriety, but that’s not even close to defining what true challenges 're all about.

True entrepreneurship is much more than authority and recognition from the outside world. Leadership is about developing people and helping others reach their full potential. Entrepreneurs are leaders & it’s about equipping others with the right tools and strategies not only to maximize the success of an organization but also the lives of individuals. It is about breaking down barriers and leading others through the uncertainty of the future.

πŸ‘‰πŸΌ #Financing:-

Experienced entrepreneurs don’t have it easy when it comes to funding a new business, but they do have a few advantages over newcomers. They might have a pool of capital from a business they previously sold or a steady stream of revenue they can use to fund a new business’s cash-flow. Even if their first business went under, they’ve likely made #investment_contacts and #client_connections necessary to give them a leg up in a new enterprise. As a new entrepreneur, you’ll be starting from scratch, which means you’ll need to start #networking like crazy and thinking through all your possible funding options before landing on one. There’s a lot more work to startup #fundraising than most new entrepreneurs realize. Not having a full understanding of the process and what it takes can lead to a lot of frustration, if not failed rounds, or at least miserable terms, cheers!!
