De-cluttering Yourself..

Decluttering is not just about improving the aesthetics of your home or work space — it’s essential to both your physical & mental wellbeing! 💯⁣

Many studies have proven the psychological power of clearing out your space in various different areas of your life. 🧠💫⁣

➡️The benefits of decluttering:⁣

💥You’ll decrease your stress & anxiety levels⁣
💥You’ll feel mentally & physically healthier⁣
💥Your productivity will improve⁣

When you start clearing the clutter out of your life, you’ll need to learn some serious organising skills! 🧹😬⁣

To live a cleaner & more organised life, try to adopt a minimalistic attitude. Start by getting rid of all of the things you obviously don’t need; items like old magazines, clothes you no longer wear, or excessive items that you don’t use. 📖👕🗑⁣

Next work on fixing up the place where you work. The top of your desk space should not be occupied with unnecessary “things.” Keep your desk space cleared for the essentials — computer, notebook & a pen. 💻📝⁣

Once your home life & your work life are physically cleaned out & minimised, your mind will be at ease. 🧘🏻‍♂️ Work on reducing what you really need & see the positive changes that follow, cheers! ✨⁣

Heart & Brain's Healthy Relationship...

Did you know that during embryo development, 🤰 the heart starts forming on day 18, while the brain starts forming on day 30? 🗓 After that, the brain & heart work together for the duration of a lifetime! ❤️∞🧠⁣⁣

Eating a healthy diet 🥒 & proper exercising 🏋️‍♀️ contribute to heart health. Those health benefits are passed along to the brain too. Keeping your heart & brain in sync 🔄 comes down to managing cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure & maintaining a healthy weight. Your brain signals your heart to pump oxygenated blood to your heart. In response, the heart delivers the blood to your body. 💗

But your heart is not just a muscle pumping blood — it truly has a mind of its own! 💥 Your heart contains more than 40,000 neurons & neurotransmitters. ⚛️ It’s literally an extension of the same network inside your brain. Your heart is responsible for producing a hormone that triggers the brain to release Oxytocin — often referred to as the “#love” hormone 😍 because it triggers feelings of empathy, trust & relationship-building! 🥰⁣⁣

Love & compassion are complex emotions that require your heart & brain to work together. ❤️👫🧠

Adrenaline can be a good thing, helping you act when you might have otherwise frozen; but sometimes it causes nerves to stand on edge. At times, the brain-heart connection & nerves can get so out of whack they can cause panic attacks! One way to keep your emotions in check is to focus on your breathing. 🌬

Deep breathing is an excellent coping skill for anxiety, as trying to be mindful of your emotions & your breathing helps lower your heart rate. 🧘🏻‍♂️

Monitoring your heart rate (through an app📱) will make you more aware of your diet, exercise, sleeping & other behaviors that affect your heart & brain. In this VALENTINE'S Day, I wish you & all your loved ones a wonderful Valentine's Day spent together. Hoping it's full of chocolates, flowers & lots of love! I wish you & your family a very happy Valentine's Day! Spend this special time together & remind each other how much you're appreciated, while sharing this awareness can be very helpful in managing stress! 🙌⁣⁣

Few other tips to help reduce day-to-day stressors;

Meditation 🧘🏻‍♂️
Yoga 🤸‍♂️⁣⁣
Laughter 😂⁣⁣
Music 🎵⁣⁣
Massages 💆‍♂️
Hugging 🤗⁣⁣

💜 Be great always, cheers!
